Stories of Hope

This was my first time creating a project around saving human lives and dedicating a space for healing. Judi, on the left, selflessly donated her organs to Angela, right, a woman who might not be here today without Judi’s generous heart. The two young men depicted are Jerrell and Matthew, they tragically passed away in devastating accidents. Their parents were faced with the choice of organ donation to continue the lives of complete strangers from around the country. I got to meet their family members,Jerrell’s mother shared that she now views my work as another place to visit her son outside of the cemetery- making this mural even more special.
